Maria Gergova-Bengtsson

Maria Gergova-Bengtsson is a visionary PR and Marketing entrepreneur, creative strategist, and innovator, with over 26 years of experience in the industry. She is the Owner and CEO of United Partners, a highly successful and award-winning PR and marketing company. Maria is also the Co-founder of United Partners Public Affairs, which focused on building bridges between businesses, governments, and institutions. She founded UPN (United Partners Network), developing a network of agency partners in Central and Eastern Europe, Austria, Russia, Greece, and Turkey, to provide multinational PR and marketing services to clients. Maria has been involved in various leadership roles in different organizations, including serving as a mentor for the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship – Caribbean, a Communications Expert for EO Europe, and Chapter President of the EO SEE Chapter. She has also been a Member of the Board of Directors for the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), Chairman of BAPRA (Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies), and Member of the Ethical Committee for the National Council for Self-regulation (NCSR). Maria holds a degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to her education, she has a Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot. Currently, Maria serves as the Member Experience Director (Europe) for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
